“Internal Server Error” when uploading a Twitter Header – Workaround

I’ve been trying to upload our Twitter header for the past two weeks and everytime I’ve recieved an Internal Server error – grrrr! Googling an answer for the problem didn’t bring up any solutions but it sure showed me that I’m not the only one with this problem. Come on Twitter, get your act together!

I found a workaround that worked for me today that hopefully  will work for anybody else with the same problem. Open (or install) the official Twitter app on your smartphone or tablet then simply upload the image through the app.
